Austin has new guidelines for residential lots with at least 7,500sf. Will this zoning change result in higher density and lower rices? Well, look at the density of housing in NYC, Tokyo, London, etc. No! It will result in more tightly packed housing and increase prices. This is great news for developers, not so much for consumers
